It's only words

And words are all I have...

That's all any of us have

On an electronic site such as this one

Oh sure~~~

There are inflections

Inferences

Even veiled threats (or those that pretend to be veiled)

But more is lost than gained

When our nonverbal feelers have been amputated

Suddenly, depth and richness become bound

 Like they were placed in handcuffs!!!

And yet--- that is where so much power and perception lies

Power.... what a major understatement!!!

Yet, we expect the young unwritten slates

That wait hungrily inside the minds of youth

To somehow grasp such missing subtleties.

We all have natural instincts

Even as fledgling seekers

But like Olympic Champions

Or writers of such classics as Beethoven's Fifth Symphony

Many are not born to lead in this area

We all have god given gifts

The wordsmiths and nonverbal guides

Are the soakers of true meaning

And so, if, even they struggle with interpretation of others spewings

How then, can the less gifted heal

How do they fight valiantly

If even one weapon is missing from their aresonal?

For instance...

How do they derive richness

Without the ability to filter filth???

Some change paths simply because

Of someone elses words or energy

Those who write---

Please never stop trying to reach those who have been stunted

By the words or actions of a fool!!!

It's your gift

It's your destiny

Human beings... what do they truly seek or need? I mean, think back to when you were like 5 years old. At that point, you felt fantastic. You liked YOU. It wasnt until someone later told you that you should NOT like you, that you even considered being less than fantastic. So, is our self-esteem based on our heart-felt thoughts or someone elses need to squash? Thanks guys for all the support. Frankie

You can be caring, open, funny and playful

You can be dark, mean-spirited and dominating

Go there

And realize

Hey all. Sorry I have taken a while to respond. I too have been in the hospital for the past three days. Long story, but I have been diagnosed with some severe type of anemia. After having been poked, prodded, scoped, transfused with two units of blood (thank you, whoever you are that cared enough to donate!), infused with a unit of iron, I am feeling better. They still don't know the cause, or what lies down the road. Tests and options to come. Thank you all for stopping by, and usually, I will try to get back to everyone quicker.
