There you were
Mysterious~~~Unknown
Some might think I am foolish to let you in
I am aware that you can be dangerous
There is no mold
Traditional or otherwise
In which you would comfortably fit
Then again
I have often pondered
Just who it is that sets life's guidelines
So many self-appointed judges
So many imprisoned minds
How refreshing to know that you are genuine
At times you are
Quirky, wild, edgy, passionate, sexual
And genuine
At times you are
Opinionated, outspoken, willing to fight
And genuine
You can be caring, open, funny and playful
You can be dark, mean-spirited and dominating
But genuine
Be fearless
Go there
Look into that preciously brutal mirror
And realize
That you
Are me
The world sometimes seem so vast, then at times it seems so small. The poem before this one was inspired by a picture on Crackers Blog. Now I'm humbled by you with this genuine
piece of your emotional inner life. It was a cleaver write indeed. Thanks for sharing.
Now thats the stuff writers are made out of!
by the way ive removed most of the mirrors in the room, i just hate scaring the heck outa meself when i wake up, im afraid im going to EXPLODE!
And Thkyou for your comment on me blog.
What you say means more to us who understand than to those who are stupid on the inside!!
Love and prayers,
Miss Terri
